Hi, I’m Omar.

We both know that a CV can only say so much about me and what I can contribute to your team. So give me a minute of your time, and I’ll give you three reasons why we should have a call together.

Deal?

Alright, good. Let’s start the timer.

After resigning from my role at Google and throughout my travels afterward, I learned more about plastic pollution and the pandemic the world is facing. Eager to do something about it, I decided to build a business in the e-commerce space.

In March 2019, Lovers of The Sea went live as a brand that raises awareness about plastic pollution while also selling eco-conscious products.

This entrepreneurial experience changed the way I think; it taught me:

How to build a system (process) for success.

This was the biggest lesson, but I published a 14-minute guide on the many more learnings I took from this experience.

After a year of working on it, I’ve now decided to close the project.

Today, I write to practice the art of storytelling.

I also learned that people don’t buy products; they buy experiences that transform them into better versions of themselves.

People make decisions based on emotion.

For the past four months, I’ve been publishing research-based articles to inspire others through this art of storytelling. They’ve garnered 130,000+ views within that time period.

Next, I want to join your team to help you build a process and articulate narratives that drive business growth.

Looks like my minute is up.

Here are the three reasons why we should have a call together:

I’m a doer, who enjoys building a process, that tells a story and delivers results.

Excited to chat with you! Thanks,

— Omar
