You want to follow that creative calling, thrive and fulfil your potential, and live a meaningful and happy life? Well, hereโ€™s the truth: You can only do so once you learn how to look inward, master your mind, and change the way you think.

And thatโ€™s exactly why I write.

I write to help you get out of your own way so you can find the clarity, confidence, and consistency to create the life you want to live.

I write to show you the joy of living a slow, meaningful, and creative life because thatโ€™s the secret to a lifetime of happiness.

I write because the very act of writing makes me feel so alive. And I want you to feel what I feel. I want you to find the courage within you to rise above your fears and start doing the very thing that will move the rivers of your soul.

Inspired by the words of Leonardo da Vinci โ€œlearn how to see; realize that everything connects to everything else,โ€ I draw lessons from philosophy, positive psychology, and personal life experiences to share words and ideas thatโ€™ll inspire you to be, think, and do better.

My work focuses on three areas:

  1. Personal Growth: How to understand yourself better.

  2. Slow Life Design: How to live a more present and intentional life.

  3. Creative Success: How to achieve success in your creative pursuits.

My life philosophy? Itโ€™s anchored in an ocean of optimism. Optimism fills me with awe and wonder, the enthusiasm to keep learning, exploring, and growing, and the will to honour my creative purpose passionately.

The way I see it, optimism is the way to becoming better.

And as with everything beautiful in life, becoming better is a continuous process. Itโ€™s a function of being, thinking, and doing. As we continue to be, think, and do, we continue to become.

My framework for becoming better.

My framework for becoming better.

Aristotle once wrote that โ€œknowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom,โ€ and the reason for that is quite simple: Life transformation begins with self-transformationโ€”you are your greatest obstacle.

So whether youโ€™re already a creative or someone whoโ€™s itching for the courage to explore the artist inside them, join The Optimist, my weekly newsletter, and letโ€™s explore the art of slow, creative, and intentional living, together.

Once a week, youโ€™ll receive my latest articles straight to your inbox.

Not convinced? Read this or browse my best work here. My articles have been featured in Thought Catalogue, Mind Cafรฉ, The Startup, Thrive Global, and Entrepreneurโ€™s Handbook and are viewed by 50,000+ people per month.

My wish is to give something beautiful to this world, something that moves the soulโ€”so I write to show you the joy of living a slow, meaningful, and creative life because thatโ€™s the secret to a lifetime of happiness.

 My Life Philosophy

  1. You only learn by doing, so if you have an idea you crave to explore, start nowโ€”thatโ€™s the only way to learn.

  2. Who youโ€™ll become in a yearโ€™s time is a summation of your daily habits and what you do everyday, today.

  3. Growth is a function of experimentation; when you stop testing new ways of doing things, you stop growing.

  4. Greatness is in the process, not the resultโ€”to be great at anything, you must be consistent.

  5. The doors to change are all around you; if youโ€™re unhappy, try opening a new door in your life.

  6. Creativity wins when itโ€™s simpleโ€”donโ€™t complicate things.

  7. You can always find a reason to be grateful and give more.

  8. You will find joy in life when you learn to live slow, and you can build a habit of living slow only when you begin to see what can only be felt with the heart.
